About The Owner

Ramona Harper has an extensive business background that includes owning  talent agencies in NJ and NY.  Like  many others she was downsized from her dream job a few years ago and used that opportunity to pursue a new direction.

In her dream job as a Corporate Marketing Executive in the for profit education sector, she had oversight of millions in revenue at several small colleges and traveled to them weekly.  Most of her time was spent in Canada, NY, Florida, Arizona, Vegas and California interviewing and training campus presidents and other personnel to implement strategies for successful revenue streams.

So, what does Ms Harper love about her new venture here in Texas?  “People are so kind and gracious here! Customers frequently walk in and say things like ”I’ve been looking for a desk for 3 years and this is exactly what I wanted!”  or one day  three women said to me….We were not having a good day but our mood has completely changed since we have been in your store!…. we will return with all of our friends!…. For me it just doesn’t get any better than that!”

A resident of Kingwood Texas for the past several years she has recently relocated to Spring and is a member of the Spring ISD Advisory Board and Chair of the Business and Marketing Committee responsible for evaluating class programs and making recommendations.  ” One of my goals is to provide workshops on life skills for our youth as well as the tools to help anyone reinvent themselves during this birth of a new era in our country.  These times can be very challenging, but can also be extremely rewarding armed with a new plan of action.”

Next on her agenda is Agenda Action Consultants a new addition to help other businesses with the knowledge she has gained.  “I was known as the Queen of Turnaround” she chuckles ” I had this God given ability to quickly identify the problems at a failing school and devise a strategy to achieve success in a short period of time with a very high profit margin.”  “I would love to help individuals or multi-billion dollar companies like the one I left.”

Customer favorites at HARPERS include hand poured soaps, oil paintings, and the Angels and Divas Designs, a collection  of jewelry, gifts and other items designed by the owner herself.
